Gospel Reflections #626: He will keep looking for you

Psalm 145:16  "He opens His hand towards all that lives and satisfies their desires."

His tender mercies and loving-kindness have always been directed towards us throughout our lives.

Even when we continue to take them ungratefully for granted or refuse to receive them, He continues to pour out His love to win us back.

No matter how many times we wander away from Him, He keeps looking for us, and when He finds us, He just hugs us and is happy that we have returned.

We who have had such experiences receive them as gifts from God, and in response God fills us with thanksgiving and joy.

All we do for God is to receive His gifts and express our gratitude and joy.

But the loop of God's love does not end here.

God responds to our response with even more love, filling us with thanksgiving and joy, and He does not stop at just filling us with His love, but He also wants to fill the people around us with His love.

Our God is love itself, and He continues to give His love without reserve.
