Gospel Reflections #615: God desires that that we know Him

Colossians 1:9  "Please be fully realizing the will of God in all wisdom and understanding through the "Spirit" 

God wants us to know Him.

God has provided us with the Holy Spirit so that we can understand even with our limited abilities.

God reveals Himself to us through the Holy Spirit.

By seeking the Holy Spirit and accepting His work, we come to know God's will more deeply, we allow the joy of walking with God to permeate our lives, and we come to know more and more of who God is.

The wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit are essential to maintain and enlarge this loop of God's grace.

God has provided everything we need.

If our hearts are focused on our own ambitions, achievements, and efforts, we will not feel the work of the Holy Spirit.

When we keep our thoughts, hearts, and wills firmly focused on God, the Holy Spirit will increase our understanding, support our actions, and add to our joy.

Instead of looking at our lack of ability or wisdom, we look to God to make up for it all, and our life energy is revitalized and all kinds of chemical reactions occur in our hearts.

God's love pours out like sunlight on every person, melting our stubborn hearts and creating a chemical reaction of God's love!
