Colossians 4:6 "Speak always with pleasant words seasoned with salt, and you will know how to answer each one. Then you will know how to answer each one of them."
"Pleasant words" do not mean pleasant words simply good words.
"Words seasoned with salt" are words seasoned with God's grace, God's mercy, God's forgiveness, and God's healing.
We are to experience in our daily lives what God would have us do to those who do not know Him and to His family.
It is as if we are practicing the filtering of God in our daily lives as we interact with other human beings.
God uses us to show someone else who He is and what His message is.
If we wrap God's will in human language and try to pass it on to others, they will only receive human words.
Therefore, we must seek God's power, entrusting our words to Him and praying for Him to work in us, so that He will season our words with salt.
We want to sow many seeds of God's love by producing many God-seasoned words from our mouths.
