Mark 9:35 “He who wants to be first, be after all, and be a servant of all."

This is what Jesus said to His disciples when He told them that He would die on the cross and rise again on the third day, but they did not understand and were arguing about who was the greatest among them.

In the world's value system, superiority is important, but in God's value system, those who serve are valuable.

This is because God's character is not based on ability, power, authority, or wealth, but on love, mercy, sacrifice, forgiveness, and patience.

God, being God, has more than enough unconditional love to meet our needs, to seek us out, and to restore us the more we serve Him.

It is precisely because we are filled with His love that we are willing and able to serve Him.

Our God is a God who is right beside us and works without rest.
