Heb. 7:25. “This One is ever living and interceding for His people."
Jesus existed before creation, and when He came to earth, He showed us how He actually lived to show us what God is like and what He can do and has done.
He has been interceding for us since His return to heaven.
He continues to wait for us to make our choices, showing us who He is and meeting our needs until we recognize Him, know Him, believe in Him, and choose to follow Him.
It is God's desire for us to express the love and grace we have received from Jesus in our lives here on earth, as His children.
With God and in God, our earthly life is a kind of rehabilitation to come to know God and to return to our original image He created.
We become aware of our spiritual illnesses and go to see Jesus for treatment.
Then, as a prescription for treatment, we go through a rehabilitation menu of "loving God and others" with the help of the Holy Spirit.
During this time, Jesus is our intercessor and transforms us into His likeness.
Jesus, our doctor, will certainly re-create us without giving up until the end.
