Luke 19:10. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
These words were said by Jesus after Zacchaeus was filled with wonder and joy and his heart was changed when Jesus came to Zacchaeus, called him by name, and said that he would stay at Zacchaeus' house.
Jesus Himself comes looking for us as we are lost.
Before Jesus appears before us, God leads our hearts to seek Him.
We are saved through our response and our acceptance of Jesus' work.
And like Zacchaeus, we are filled with wonder and joy and even our hearts are transformed.
We are made aware of who we really are, and by accepting this, we become convinced that a Savior is essential to us, and we seek Him.
At that point, Jesus comes to us and offers to make a relationship with us.
All we have to do is accept it and we will be transformed in our relationship with Jesus.
All we have to do is receive.
