Gospel Reflections #596: Jesus is our healer and re-creator!

Matthew 9:2  “When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man with the gout, "Child, cheer up. Your sins are forgiven you."

Jesus does not look at our "outward deeds" but at our "inward faith.

No matter how weak or imperfect our faith may be, if we have faith in Jesus the size of a mustard seed, He will see it.

Then he calls out to us, "Son.

Jesus works on our "insides" and transforms us from the "inside out.

When Jesus removes the burdens from our hearts and transforms the "inside," he also transforms the "outside.

And we want to respond to Jesus with thanksgiving, praise, and joy through an experience that makes everything new.

Jesus comes near to us in His own way. So we should be merciful to him.

Jesus is our healer and re-creator!
